Atlas Mythical: books, travel, photography and ancient civilizations brought back to life
Atlas Mythical is the place where books, travel, photography and visual imagination come together. It is a premium project by Domingo Sáez Romero dedicated to the civilizations, cultures and places that have fascinated him for years through reading, first-hand journeys and immersive historical curiosity.

A project born from lifelong fascination
Atlas Mythical was not created as a simple showcase of curiosities. It was born from a deeper impulse: the desire to write books about the worlds, peoples and civilizations that have truly fascinated me for years. Many of those fascinations came from reading widely, comparing sources, studying visual details and then standing in front of real places that leave a mark on memory.
Along the way, I have visited places through organized tours, cultural routes and heritage experiences, and in some cases even shared those journeys with archaeologists or people deeply connected to the historical value of the sites. That direct contact gives the project a richer perspective: not only what books say, but also what a place communicates when you walk through it, photograph it and feel its atmosphere.
That is why Atlas Mythical is designed as a premium editorial proposal: books written with genuine fascination, visual sensitivity and the will to make readers travel through history, myth and civilization in an immersive way.
Atlas Mythical turns fascination into books and travel into living memory.

The first book in development: Ancient Egypt
The first major title I am currently developing for Atlas Mythical is dedicated to Ancient Egypt. It is a culture that combines mystery, spirituality, political power, architecture, symbolism and a visual identity capable of captivating readers generation after generation.
This book aims to guide the reader through Ancient Egypt with clarity and emotion: from the foundations of its civilization to its gods, beliefs, symbols, landscapes and human legacy. The goal is not only to inform, but also to awaken wonder and the desire to keep discovering.
Ancient Egypt is the ideal opening volume because it represents exactly what Atlas Mythical stands for: serious fascination, aesthetic power, cultural depth and the ability to connect scholarship with imagination.
How Atlas Mythical is built
Every Atlas Mythical book is designed to offer value beyond a generic summary. The project brings together several layers that justify its place in a reader’s library.
Research-driven passion
These books are born from real curiosity, sustained reading and the desire to understand what makes each civilization unforgettable.
Places experienced first-hand
Travel, tours and on-site observation enrich the writing with visual memory, atmosphere and lived perspective.
A premium reading experience
The intention is not merely to list facts, but to create books that are beautiful to read, emotionally resonant and visually evocative.
Why these books deserve to be read and bought
Atlas Mythical is made for readers who do not want cold information alone. They want context, fascination, atmosphere and a voice capable of turning knowledge into an experience. That is what gives these books their value.
Buying an Atlas Mythical book means entering a carefully crafted work that combines cultural curiosity, literary sensitivity, visual imagination and a personal journey through the places and subjects that inspire it.
- Because they are written from real fascination, not from routine.
- Because they connect books, travel, photography and historical curiosity in one coherent vision.
- Because they seek to make the reader learn, imagine and emotionally connect with each civilization.
- Because they are designed as premium works with identity, atmosphere and cultural soul.
Civilizations and worlds that inspire future volumes
Atlas Mythical begins with Egypt, but it is conceived as a larger collection devoted to the cultures and places that deserve to be rediscovered with beauty and depth.
- Ancient Egypt
- Classical Greece
- Mesopotamia
- Imperial Rome
- China and its ancient dynasties
- Mesoamerican civilizations
- Norse culture and mythology
- Legendary routes, vanished cities and historical landscapes
